split pea soup filling; Lebanese roll with tahini,
falafel, hummus and tabbouleh doused in barbecue
sauce; the huge East West sandwich, a pita served
with barbecue tempeh and coleslaw and baked. After

of lemon cheesecake, a taste of frozen chocolate
cream log, or a bowl of chocolate raisin. Aromas

Café Latino
|
At night
this enormous templelike building is so quiet that
it seems abandoned. But if you walk down the main
hallway, you will come across four dining pavilions.
Shining gold tablecloths add colour to the gray
stone pillars and floors, and fountains trickle
into lotus ponds, enhancing the secluded atmosphere.
The international dishes are well prepared; grilled
vegetable kebabs are crisp outside and bursting
with juicy flavour inside; the mixed seafood grill
is generous; and the spaghetti carbonara is enormous,
rich and smoky.
