Legian Beach
A barred beach where you
can either mingle around with the tourists or
play paddleball and football, can indulge yourself
in a massage and manicure, catch up on reading,
meditate, exercise, enjoy the sunset, visit one
of the bars or just wade into the welcoming waves.
Kuta
Kuta is a thriving tourist
resort, popular mainly with young people. It has
a beach for surfing although currents make it
less suitable for swimming. The breathtaking sunset
of Kuta is a treat to watch. Regular performances
of Balinese music and dance will entertain you
throughout your stay in Kuta. Since the 1960s
Kuta and Legian have expanded so rapidly that
the district is now one of the busiest tourist
areas in the world.
Jimbaran Beach
Jimbaran Beach offers many
grilled seafood restaurants and terrific windsurfing
and sailing spots. Serving as a magnet to the
local families and tourist, the beach steals the
entire charm with its sleepy gray sand and calm
waters. A superb crescent of white sand and blue
seas lies to the south of the airport featuring
fishing fleets and luxury hotels.
Sanur Beach
The eastern coast of Bali,
Sansur Beach is an ideal beach for snorkeling
protected by a coral reef. Sansur is Bali's biggest
traditional village offering wonderful beaches
with many facets but their charming and irresistible
feel is one thing in common.
Nusa Dua Beach
The most prestigious resort
area, elegantly lining the beautiful white sands
serves as the center of international world-class
luxury hotels. Don't miss swimming in Nusa Dua,
which is like a swim in a lagoon-like area.
Tulamben Beach
The "wreck of the
Liberty" - a submerged ship is Tulamben's
major attraction and the most popular dive site
in all of Bali. Despite the fact that there are
many dive centers at Tulamben most of the divers
seek out this divers' paradise from Lovina.
Lovina Beach
Protected waters and warm
fine gray sands of Lovina offers quiet and calm
surroundings. These coastal villages of Lovina
to the west of Singaraja cove with tranquil. Darkly
beautiful Lovina's reef keeps the sea calm and
makes it perfect for snorkelling. The place is
very popular with those avoiding Bali's busier
and more glamorous beaches.

| Bali Elephant Safari
Park |

| Gunung Agung |
| Gunung Agung - Bali's
highest and most revered mountain and Bali's biggest
trekking challenge. For the trekking buffs best
time to climb is during the dry season of April
through October and don't forget to carry flashlight,
water, food, and warm and waterproof clothing. The
shortest and most popular route up Gunung Agung
is from Selat or Muncan. |

| Bali's
Bird Park houses over 1000 birds, with rare and
beautiful varieties from all over Indonesia. Also
called as Taman Burung Bali, the park breed endangered
species in captivity in the quest of preservation.
The two hectares of tropical gardens will impress
even those with zero interest in ornithology.

| Taman Nasional Bali
Barat |
| Covering almost the
whole of the western tip of Bali, 750 square km
of Taman Nasional Bali Barat features savanahs,
dense rainforests, tangles of mangrove swamps, colourful
coral reefs and Pulau Menjangan. The park area is
been gazette as a conservation area. Particularly
known for the endangered jalak or Bali Starling,
the park is home for over 300 species of animals
and birds. Don't forget to take along an official
guide and a park permit to enter. |
| Bali Sangeh Monkey
Forest |
| Set near Sangeh village,
this 6 hectares of Bali Sangeh Monkey Forest is
filled with giant nutmeg trees capable of growing
as high as 40m! The wise and funny Balinese monkeys
are the main attraction inhabiting both the trees
and the temple. Visitors coming to pay respect at
the temple should be aware of these monkeys as are
attracted to shiny objects, so cameras and jewelry. |
| Gitgit Waterfalls |

from the main road, the cascading Gitgit Waterfalls
located 10km to the south of Singaraja tempts the
visitors with a refreshing swim. This impressive
40m waterfall gushes into a deep, cool pool is quite

pre historic and modern art, where as its architectural

Ubud

a higher altitude with a pleasant climate, some
25 kilkometers north of Denpasar, Ubud has become
known worldwide as a center and haven for the arts.
Ubuds Puri Lukisan museum, Neka museum, Rudana
museum and the amazing ARMA display a permanent
collection of Balinese art, dating from the turn
of the century. With a spectacular setting among
lush rice paddies and the stunning hillsides of
Central Bali, Ubud offers a special atmosphere.
Here youll find wonderful palaces and temples,
museums, dozens of shops and excellent restaurants.
At night there are performances by traditional dancers.

region offers a wide range of landscapes, from volcanic
mountains to rich rice plains. From the deserted
